A Capacity Building Programme for Export Promotion of Agriculture & Horticulture Produce of Nagaland at ADC Planning Hall, Ongpangkong RD Block, Mokokchung district, Nagaland was organised by Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) in association with District Agriculture Office (Mokokchung dist.) Dept. of Agriculture, Govt. of Nagaland on 9th February 2026.
Dr. Lanunochetla, DAO, Mokokchung District and Chairperson of the event gave the welcome address. The program brought together 65 participants, official from District Administration, District Agriculture Office, District Horticulture Office, SARS, KVK, NABARD, DIC, MSME, APMC and farmers, entrepreneurs.
Experts from APEDA spoke on role of APEDA in exports, documentation required for exports, schemes of APEDA, quality to be maintained for exports etc. Also, shown demonstration on APEDA portal, IEC & RCMC registration via DGFT portal, registration under PQMS portal for obtaining Phytosanitary Certificate & registration unde ICEGATE for Customs Clearance facility.
Experts from District Administration, District Agriculture Office, District Horticulture Office, KVK, NABARD, DIC, MSME, APMC joined the discussion hour with farmers and entrepreneurs asked about procedure for availing schemes of APEDA & experts from APEDA briefed on procedures for availing schemes of APEDA such as 75% subsidy for establishment of integrated packhouse, purchase of refrigerated vehicle etc.
