The Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DA-JGUA) was formally launched on 16 June 2025 at Ungma Village by Shri Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung. The initiative marks a significant step toward the holistic development and empowerment of tribal villages in the region.
As part of the launch event, various departments set up informative and interactive stalls to showcase their services and schemes aimed at rural upliftment. The stalls received positive engagement from the local community and visiting dignitaries.
The event was attended by officials from various departments across the district, underscoring a collective commitment to the success of the DA-JGUA initiative.
